Tema Space Innovators ETF (NASA) Hits $1 Billion AUM Milestone in Record Time
The Tema Space Innovators ETF (NASA) has surged to $1 billion in assets under management just 37 trading days after its March 31 launch. Now commanding $1.27 billion, it dominates the space ETF sector, eclipsing competitors like UFO and ARKX.
NASA's unique SpaceX exposure fueled its ascent—a distinction amplified by SpaceX's recent S-1 filing for a public listing. Wednesday alone saw $375 million inflows as IPO anticipation peaked, though SpaceX's fund weighting dropped from 10.3% to 4.6% due to dilution.
With 46% returns since inception, NASA trails only Roundhill's MARS ETF (53%) in performance. Its rapid growth marks it as the second-fastest thematic ETF to reach the billion-dollar threshold among 1,700 peers.
